How company information works

Directory Methodology

A company profile is a research lead—not an endorsement, inspection result or guarantee.

Record scope

Profiles can contain business identity, location, contact routes, recorded services, service areas, credentials, licensing fields, insurance status, reputation data and update timestamps. Missing data means the field was not available in the directory record; it does not prove the fact is absent.

Company ordering

The default order considers recorded profile completeness, service fit, directory quality fields and designated directory tiers. It does not represent an independent finding about workmanship, safety, price or suitability. Visitors can use available sorting controls and should compare more than one company where practical.

Verification language

“Verified record” refers to completion of the directory platform’s record-verification workflow. It does not mean Chimney Sweep Help inspected work, audited insurance, confirmed every credential or guarantees future performance.

Ratings and outside sources

When reputation data appears, its value, review count and source can change. Ratings are not credentials. Visitors should open the original source, review recency and read a range of feedback.

Local pages

State and city pages are generated only from actual directory locations. Educational location notes use defensible regional conditions and avoid invented neighborhood or housing-stock claims.

Corrections

Businesses and visitors can submit documented corrections under our Corrections Policy. Time-sensitive facts should always be confirmed with the company or issuing authority.
